A feasibility study is most of the times the first step into a project. It can help with the important decision “to be or not to be“ or perhaps “to build or not build”, as it provides validity in explaining factors relating to the glass plant location, market potential, financing, etc.
Basic Engineering represents the kickoff of every project and usually lasts between 2 to 3 months. In this phase we take care of every facet of the planned project, even if you don’t have a feasibility study at hand.
The following activities are considered during the Detail Engineering phase; coordination of deliveries and services, as well as the monitoring of interfaces between the subcontractors, HORN® and the customer’s planning institute.
Generally, there are several parties involved in a project, which is why plant manufacturing needs an “upper hand” to control all processes and solve issues. Our project team coordinates all activities on site between all project participants.
The new glass production lines, which are implemented as a “turn key project”, as well as existing glass plants complain about a lack of qualified personnel. As the technologies and equipment continue to develop every year, we – HORN® – have come up with a training concept that meets your needs.
