Our turn-key plants come with a number of utilities, such as a clever designed system for cooling water.

The cooling water is essential for the production and prevents the equipment from overheating in the hot production area and thus protects it from damage. To cool down the equipment sufficiently and reliably, the cooling water perpetually circulates in closed and open loops. An accumulating tank and pumps are installed to make sure the necessary pressure for the water circulation is available at any given time.

The HORN^® concept for cooling water treatment contains the dosing of chemicals (prevention of corrosion and biological control), bypass filtration, online measurement of water parameter and bypass filter units.

Of course, HORN^® has also considered emergency situations. Separate Diesel or UPS-driven pumps and an elevated water tank ensure water circulation in case of emergency.
