A main voltage transformer substation at the factory entrance ensures the change from high voltage to medium voltage, whereas local transformer substations are foreseen in the main production unit and for the equipment of the auxiliary workshops.

During electricity shutdowns an uninterrupted power supply provides electricity for 20 minutes to maintain the production process. In addition, diesel generators as backup supply enough power for a safe production cycle.
