The flue gas butterfly valve is exclusively designed for the regulation of the through flow volume of the gas in the flue gas duct. It regulates the tank pressure in a glass melting tank.
The flue gas butterfly valve is permanently mounted in the flue gas duct. It is connected to the tank master computer via its controls. The flue gas butterfly valve consists of a damper bridge, a control damper and a vertical drive shaft.
The control damper is firmly connected to the drive shaft on a vertical column secured at the top with ball bearings. The drive shaft is connected at the top via a lever linkage which is driven by an electric actuator.
