In addition to the fuel stations, HORN also provides the oxygen supply stations for oxyfuel furnaces. The equipment is designed on state of the art computer stations with CAD. Special programs assist the engineers in the design and dimensioning of the oxygen stations. Based on HORN's extensive experience, only the most reliable and durable equipment from special suppliers is used. Each station is pre-assembled and tested in order to avoid time consuming and faulty assembly on site.
The following components are supplied by HORN:
- Oxygen burners and auxiliary equipment
- Oxygen control and measuring station
- Oxygen safety unit
- Oxygen filtering and pressure control station
Safety is most important during operation of oxygen stations. Therefore all the stations are equipped with safety valves according to DIN EN 746 – safety requirements for combustion and fuel handling systems in industrial thermo-processing equipment. The oxygen pressure (min./max.), fuel flow, furnace pressure und chimney suction will be supervised in order to shut off oxygen supply in case values go out of range.
Furthermore, all the stations are designed with by-pass lines for maintenance work on equipment and easy equipment replacement. The stations are adaptable to local conditions on site in order to provide the operator with the most user-friendly equipment.
