The flue gas butterfly valve is exclusively designed for the regulation of the through flow volume of the gas in the flue gas duct. It regulates the tank pressure in a glass melting tank.
The flue gas butterfly valve is permanently mounted in the flue gas duct; it is connected to the tank master computer via its controls. The flue gas butterfly valve consists of a damper bridge, a control damper and a vertical drive shaft.
The control damper is firmly connected to the drive shaft on a vertical column secured at the top with ball bearings. The drive shaft is connected at the top via a lever linkage. The lever linkage is driven by an electric actuator.
