Pushers and fences are water-cooled pipes with a carbon block at the end. The water cooled pipes will be installed to a motorized positioner unit which leads through a side sealing into the tin bath.
The fence has a cylindrical graphite block on its end. This machine will be installed behind the last top roller to guide / control the glass ribbon. During a regular operation the fence on one side of the tin bath will touch the glass ribbon. The other fence will be used in case of a ribbon drift to move them back to the correct positon.
The pusher has a graphite block with a diablo profile at its end. This machine will be installed close to the shoulder. The distance between the two graphite parts will be chosen according to the width of the annealing lehr. In case of an emergency the graphite profile of the pusher will bend the glass in order to avoid damages at the annealing lehr.
