Service technician for glass melting furnaces (m/f/d)
YOUR TASKS
- Performing hot work on glass melting furnaces, e.g., cladding work, sealing burnouts, work on the auxiliary electric heating system (installing and replacing electrode holders and sliding electrodes), etc.
- Planning and deploying equipment and machinery in accordance with the tasks to be performed
- Initiating and monitoring occupational safety and health protection measures
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed vocational training as a bricklayer/structural mason or metalworker
- Comparable qualification through many years of professional experience
- Knowledge and experience with glass melting furnaces is an advantage
- Independent, self-reliant, and solution-oriented approach to work
- High flexibility, resilience, and willingness to work and travel nationally and internationally
